Follow the Evidence: 5 Steps to Make Your Diversity Case in the New Normal

LIVE Training Event!

Tuesday, June 15, 2010: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET

We're living in the New Normal:

  • There are four generations in the workplace -- Greatest Generation, Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millenials
  • Faster economic growth has led to an increasing share of immigrants in the labor pool -- 51% of immigrants in 25% of the largest US metropolitan areas hold white-collar jobs
  • Budgets are tight, time is tighter -- there's an imperative need to integrate communications, knowledge, programs, systems, teams

The New Normal requires that people work with each other -- perhaps in ways they haven't done so before.

How Can YOU Make the Case for Diversity in the New Normal?

Join Colette Ellis and Tim Mulvaney for their LIVE training on Tuesday, June 15 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This program has been pre-approved by the HR Certification Institute for 3 (Strategic Business) recertification credit hours towards the PHR and SPHR recertifications.

In this hands-on training, you will learn to apply the Five-Step Process of Evidence-Based Diversity Management:

  1. Identify your "patient" -- or core diversity and inclusion issue that most impacts your organization, team or resource group
  2. Develop a well-built question to help focus your efforts and resources
  3. Conduct a search to find the best evidence and best practices
  4. Evaluate the evidence for its validity and applicability to your situation
  5. Return to your "patient" to assess and monitor the progress of the strategies you chose to implement

DATE: Tuesday, June 15, 2010

TIME: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET

LOCATION: Support Center - Conference Room: 305 Seventh Avenue, 11th floor

This training is a follow-up to their May 4th teleseminar, and is based on models and strategies Tim and Colette pioneered as Adjunct Professors at New York University, for their graduate-level course: Managing Diversity - An Evidence-Based Approach.

  • Are you ready to face the hard facts and build a "truth-telling" culture?
  • Are you ready to treat your organization like an unfinished prototype to encourage experimentation and learning-by-doing?

Then, register NOW and let Tim & Colette teach you how to Follow the Evidence!
